Our Parent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group is designed to empower parents with essential skills to navigate their own emotions and challenges while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for their teen. Led by two experienced therapists, this group offers a space for parents to develop mindfulness techniques, emotion regulation strategies, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance skills. By practicing these skills in a supportive group setting, parents gain confidence in their ability to manage stress and respond effectively to their children's needs.

If you have a child struggling with anxious emotions, our Parenting Anxious Avoiders Group provides a strutured skill-building and understanding environment for parents to connect with others facing similar challenges. Led by two compassionate professionals, this group focuses on providing support, guidance, and practical strategies to parents in managing their teen’s anxiety. Through discussions, shared experiences, and skill-building exercises, parents gain insights into anxiety management, develop effective parenting techniques, and strengthen their relationship with their teen.


Our Parent Intensive Retreat is an individualized program designed for parents who have experienced trauma or challenging family backgrounds. Led by a therapist trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), this intensive retreat offers a nurturing and healing environment for parents to address their own unresolved trauma. Through specialized ART techniques, parents can find healing, release emotional, and develop healthier patterns for themselves and their families. This is perfect for the caregiver who is in need of support but does not have the time for ongoing therapy. Significant results occur in 1 to 5 sessions.

 

Register for our free online workshop designed specifically for caregivers of teens, where you'll gain invaluable insights into understanding triggers and learn practical tools to effectively de-escalate emotions without exacerbating the situation. This workshop serves as an essential starting point for supporting family members in the lives of our clients with information about how environmental factors, including parental influence, impact biologically sensitive and reactive teens. You'll discover strategies to create a validating and problem-solving home environment that promotes your teen's success while also learning how to effectively validate and communicate with your teen to transform high-risk behaviors.

This online introductory workshop is offered on a recurring basis on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.
